TX 12K-A & TX 15K-A Integrated Transmitters + RSD
The Sol-Ark TX 12K-A and TX 15K-A Integrated Transmitters are pivotal for the integrity of the Rapid Shutdown (RSD) system, adhering to the safety mandates set by NEC 2017 (690.12) and NEC 2020 (690.12). These transmitters communicate a "permission to operate" signal to the linked optimizers using Power Line Communication (PLC), which is crucial for enabling a module-level rapid shutdown during emergencies. Included with their respective inverters, the TX 12K-A pairs with the Sol-Ark 12K-2P-N inverter, and the TX 15K-A is compatible with the Sol-Ark 15K-2P-N inverter.
Their design allows for a seamless integration into the inverter's wire box, bypassing the need for extra PLC cores. Versatile in power options, they can draw energy from the inverter's in-built 48VDC power supply in battery-based setups or from an external 48VDC source in grid-tied systems, providing flexibility in installation and use.
